7th + 8th Grade Hybrid Learning

A Season of Growing Independence

ACA’s Hybrid program for seventh and eighth grade is designed for students in a pivotal season of growth. As young teens develop greater independence, deeper thinking skills, and a stronger sense of identity, their learning begins to shift. Our hybrid model balances structure and flexibility, helping students grow academically while maturing in responsibility and confidence.

Purposeful Hybrid Learning

Hybrid learning is not online school. It is a thoughtful combination of meaningful in-person instruction and guided at-home learning. On-campus days focus on teaching, discussion, collaboration, and hands-on projects. At-home days are clearly directed and structured, allowing students to practice time management and ownership of their work. Face-to-face time is used intentionally for deeper engagement and individualized support.

Building Skills for the Future

This model helps students retain what they learn while building essential life skills such as organization, accountability, and independence—preparing them well for high school and beyond. Relationships remain central, with classroom time designed for collaboration and mentorship so students feel both known and supported.

Faith at the Center

Most importantly, faith remains at the heart of everything we do. As students ask deeper questions and form personal convictions, we help them anchor their thinking in Scripture. Our prayer is that their faith is not simply inherited, but strengthened and made their own—built on a foundation that will carry them into high school and adulthood.

Partnering With Families

ACA is committed to partnering closely with families during these formative years, cultivating confident, capable, and Christ-centered young men and women prepared for what lies ahead.

"Having the hybrid program has been such a blessing.

Our son continues to be academically challenged and still gets to be in a supportive, faith-filled junior high environment.  He is learning skills that will not only help him succeed throughout his academic career but also in life.”
